The Tennis Trio, DraftKings DFS Tennis Analysis

Looking for a breakdown of options to play for today’s  DraftKings Tennis slate? We will breakdown three players who have the potential to win against their opponent. These options are to help build lineups for the slate ahead. Let’s get to it!

Grigor Dimitrov $9,600

Dimitrov opens up his first round of the Paris Masters against Italian, Lorenzo Musetti. These two have played against each other twice before with both of them winning once. However, Dimitrov defeated in straight sets less than a week ago and is poised to do the same again. He is one of the hottest players right now as he is 11-5 since the start of the U.S. Open. The five losses have came against the top players in Daniil Medvedev, Andrey Rublev, Jannik Sinner, and Alexander Zverev. If we take a look at their ELO ratings for hard courts, Dimitrov has a rating of 26 while Musetti has a hard court rating of 54. He is a -350 favorite to win today and is a great start to lineups.

Adrian Mannarino $8,100

Mannarino is playing some of his best tennis but is coming into this tournament on two straight losses. However, he played some tough matches, losing to Nicolas Jarry in three sets and then losing his previous match to countryman, Gael Monfils. Mannarino faces Botic Van de Zandschulp in the first round of the Paris Masters. These two have played three times with Van de Zandschulp holding the advantage 2-1, all on hard courts but he is not in the best form. He has not won two straight matches since the end of April. If we take a look at their ELO ratings for hard courts, Mannarino has a rating of 41 while Van de Zandschulp has a rating of 47. Mannarino is a -140 favorite and is a nice mid-range value.

Roberto Bautista Agut $6,600

Bautista Agut is playing his third match since returning from injury. Before his match in Stockholm two weeks ago, he hadn’t played since the middle of July. With that being said, he is an underdog today against Czech, Jiri Lehecka. These two have played once before with Bautista Agut earning the victory in three sets on clay. They are on hard courts this week and if we look at their ELO ratings for this surface, Bautista Agut has a rating of 35 while Lehecka has a rating of 39. He is a tour veteran and with him being a +160 underdog, I like his chances to potentially pull an upset.
