DraftKings League of Legends Esports DFS Rundown (LEC) – 3/30/24

Chalk Team:

Fnatic (FNC):

FNC enter this matchup with the highest lane control (51.4%) among all teams on the slate and should arguably have the easiest path to their value in lineups. However, with FNC likely to receive the majority of ownership they would be more optimal for cash contests but can’t be completely faded in tournaments due to there being minimal outside value. Moreover, the objective distribution in FNC stacks should be in their favor due to having a decent gap in tower control (56% first to three versus 33%). Fortunately, FNC has prevailed against GX both times they met earlier this season and should give them a slight edge in contests. Since the tower control strength has been favoring FNC building around Oscarinin in top lane would be ideal here, especially when the gap was largest in top lane for both gold and damage distribution during the last faceoff between these teams. Also, another viable option to stack with Oscarinin in top lane would be his teammate Noah in bot lane who should have a higher chance of receiving the creep score bonus after leading in that regard on average lately (10.3 rate). However, after a recent loss and being outdamaged against the opposing attack damage carry Patrik could sneakily perform well for GX and is the closest to Noah in creep score rate (9.1). In addition, between the two previous matches these teams had bot lane was the only one GX managed to have higher damage distribution (29.7% to 15.9%) so now may be a good opportunity to consider Patrik as a one-off option.

Value Team(s):

Vitality (VIT)

A matchup that is likely to have closer scoring making it optimal to target players from both sides will occur here between VIT and SK. The baron control has been extremely close on average for both teams here but VIT has had more success (53% to 47%) so this should help buff them enough to keep up in fights, especially as the slightly less slaying efficient team (0.96 team K/D to 0.99) and provide slightly more value in lineups. Due to VIT having one of the most consistent slaying successes (12.4 rate) compared to SK having one of the worst (-6.4) Vetheo would be worth considering in VIT stacks as well and coming off two straight games of exceeding his value. This may be the best chance for Vetheo to perform well here again with the opposing mid-lane in Nisqy regressing slightly. On the other hand, there is some risk with Vetheo shares as well due to Nisqy heavily damaging more champions on average than him (750 per minute to 544 per minute). Moreover, Vetheo underperformed in the last faceoff against SK, but Nisqy fell slightly short of his value as well making it optimal to split the exposures of both mid-laners in lineups. As for one-off options jungle lane could have a large impact on the value in lineups as well and both are even in slaying efficiency at 4.0 KDAs up to this point. ISMA may end up having the initial upper hand though with a 30% first blood rate compared to Daglas’ 11%. Unfortunately, for VIT they had single-digit damage distribution in jungle lane when facing SK previously which could potentially lead to ISMA improving his value further after failing to reach it for two straight games.
