DraftKings CS2 Esports DFS Rundown (PGL Major Copenhagen) – 3/29/24

CPTN:

Jimphat (MOUZ)

Entering with his team having the highest win streak (6) of any on the slate at the moment and could go the distance while providing strong value himself is Jimphat. Although Jimpphat is the most expensive on the slate the price tag is worth paying up for especially in cash and he has been one of if not the most consistent rifflers (1.76 K/D) for MOUZ during this Major. Fortunately, one of G2’s star rifflers has been struggling slightly (NiKo) and has admitted to that publicly. This would make Jimpphat the most optimal option to build and leads all players on the slate in slaying efficiency but likely to receive the majority of ownership. That being stacking him with his teammate xertioN could help differentiate builds in contests who happens to have slightly more damage than him on average (94 to 93.5) and at a mid/lower price range.

m0NESY (G2)

On the opposing end in the same matchup and received a price drop worth taking advantage of in contests is m0NESY. Unfortunately, G2 were swept 2-0 in the very last faceoff these teams had but m0NESY was one of the few players for his team with a positive kill-death differential in that game. Moreover, m0NESY has been performing strongly for G2 in their recent two game win streak with two 20+ kill-death differential games in a row so he may end up contributing the majority of points for his team once again. Luckily, m0NESY has a good chance of taking advantage of the opposing sniper main in the majority of their duels due to being slightly more efficient (1.59 versus 1.56 K/D lately). However, with G2 potentially having trouble exceeding their values heavily outside of m0NESY he would be one of the most viable one-off options on the slate.

FLEX:

XANTARES (EF)

With the battle of the two top riflemen likely to have a strong impact on their team’s scoring in this matchup XANTARES would be the most optimal to select from EF/NATUS. XANTARES would be one of the most viable cash options on the slate and currently has dealt the most damage among all teams on the slate (94.5 on average). Therefore, XANTARES has potential to be one of the top scorers on the slate due to NAVI not having many players deal close to that damage or have nearly as much efficiency as XANTARES (1.37 K/D). On the other hand, with this matchup potentially blowing out in favor of EF (despite them being underdogs) it could be risky targeting XANTARES heavily in lineups but shouldn’t be completely faded.

jL (NATUS)

As mentioned earlier NATUS are favored in this matchup and defeated EF 2-1 the last time these teams met, but there should be no surprise if they end up struggling due to the majority of their riflemen being inconsistent lately (only two players with north of 1 kill-death ratios). However, jL has been the most consistent and has been a top two slayer for every NATUS win during this Major so far so he would arguably be the safest option to consider in lineups. Also, jL has been the only player of NATUS dealing close to as much damage on average (83.8) compared to EF’s top rifleman (94.5) so he may be expected to help counter him and ideally the best one-off option and/or key to build around within NATUS stacks. In addition, since the sniper battle could end up being a factor as well pairing jL with his teammate w0nderful would be optimal as well (after having a 20+ kill-death differential against EF before) despite regressing slightly in value during NATUS’ last match.
