Quick Pivots

The Playoffs are here!  After taking a break for the initial games over the weekend I’ll be bringing the “NHL CHEAT SHEET” for the remainder of the post season.  Similarly to the regular season the cheat sheet will highlight the higher projected/owned plays on the slate and is a good template for building cash game lines.  Below we will take a brief look at the slate from a high level and attempt to identify some viable lower owned stacks for tournaments.

We’ve got another three game playoff slate on tap for Sunday evening with DraftKings offering up a $30K Kick Save tournament with $10K going to first place.  Similar to yesterday we have three closely lined games although there not as close to coin flips as we saw the biggest favorite is the Rangers who are listed at -158 over the Capitals.

In terms of ownership the Predators are getting some love with most of their first line going to have ownership north of 20%.  Outside of Nashville we have some Rangers and Kings piece towards the top of the ownership pile but again with just three closely lined playoff games the slate dynamics change and everything is pretty spread out.  For tournaments my favorites stacks are the Capitals and Canucks as we continue our journey through the post season of getting to these underdog stacks.

Closing out with goaltender we have the top three median projected options as Igor Shesterkin (Rangers), Juuse Saros (Predators), and Stuart Skinner (Edmonton).  Shesterkin is arguably in a tier of his own but the other five options are all within 2 points of median projection.

That will do it for our quick look at the Sunday night three game slate!  Make sure you’re geared up for the busiest season of the sports calendar and the rest of the NHL season with our NHL FC Pro subscription options below!
