Week 6 NFL Stacking Strategies: DFS Analysis for DraftKings and FanDuel

This article is aimed at providing a couple game-stacking options for this Sunday’s main slate of games. Most stacks are usually a QB paired with a WR or TE, sometimes it could be a RB and a DEF. With that being said, lets take a look at Week 5!

Baker Mayfield $5,400 DK | $7,100 FD and Chris Godwin $6,900 DK | $6,300 FD

Baker and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers host the Detroit Lions on Sunday. For the Lions, they are coming off a win against the Panthers but have lost safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson and cornerback Emmanuel Moseley to injuries, which does not help their back end. For Baker, he had thrown at least 32 passes in three of his four games this season, which is enough opportunities to make something happen against the Lions defense. Also, with the status f Mike Evans unknown yet, Godwin slots in nicely into that number one role and produced last week with over eight receptions for 114 yards. The last time the Lions faced a team that focused more on the pass then the run was Seattle as Geno Smith, who threw for over 320 yards and two touchdowns. Baker has at least two passing touchdowns in two of his four games this season. With the Lions being one of the better teams against the rush, I expect the Buccaneers to pass more often on Sunday, giving more opportunities for Baker to make a play.

Raheem Mostert $6,400 DK | $8,500 FD and Dolphins DEF $3,500 DK | $4,800 FD

Mostert and the Dolphins stay at home for another game against the Carolina Panthers. Carolina is coming off a loss in Detroit, and are on the road again. For the Panthers, Bryce Young has struggled a bit but that comes with being a rookie. Because of his struggles and the run game not being able to get going, they are struggling to score points. For the Dolphins defense, that is good news. They just sacked Daniel Jones seven times last week and now get to face a rookie quarteback? Sign me up. For Mostert, his matchup is one of the best on the slate as he faces a Panthers team that is tied for the league lead in rushing touchdowns allowed while also allowing the third most rushing yards through the start of the season. With the other running backs injured, he should have a big dose of carries on Sunday being such a large favorite.
